Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of church is this?

We are an entheogenic church, meaning we use sacred plant medicines and natural sacraments to help individuals connect with the divine within. The sacraments we serve, Bufo and Niños Santos (sacred mushrooms), facilitate profound spiritual experiences.

Unlike traditional religious organizations, we do not prescribe doctrines, beliefs, or dogma. You are welcome just as you are, no matter your spiritual background, beliefs, or lack thereof. Our role is to provide a safe, supportive space for deep transformation and self-discovery.

Our spiritual practice is protected under the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA) and reinforced by Gonzales v. O Centro Espírita Beneficente União do Vegetal (2006). This ruling affirms that the government cannot interfere with sincere religious practices involving entheogens, as long as safety and legal compliance measures are in place.

We are grateful to those who have fought for these legal protections, including the Native American Church (NAC), União do Vegetal (UDV), and Holy Light of the Queen Church. Since this ruling, many entheogenic churches have emerged across the U.S., offering sacred sacraments in a legally recognized and protected spiritual context.

Should I receive Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) or Mushrooms?

Each sacrament offers a unique experience, and the right choice depends on your personal intentions and readiness.

Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) is a short yet extremely intense experience, often leading to a rapid ego dissolution and deep spiritual awakening. Niños Santos (Sacred Mushrooms) provides a longer, steadier journey, often offering insights through visions, emotional processing, and heightened awareness.

We will guide you through the decision-making process, helping you determine which sacrament aligns best with your needs at this time.

Can your sacraments help with my medical condition?
We are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice. If you have a medical condition or are taking medication, we strongly recommend consulting with a qualified healthcare provider before participating in a ceremony.
What if I have a difficult experience?

It’s natural to feel some uncertainty or fear about working with entheogens. However, the mindset and setting in which you approach the ceremony make a significant difference.

If challenges arise, you will be in a safe, supportive environment, guided by experienced facilitators who will provide:

  • Breathwork & Meditation Techniques to help you stay grounded.
  • Somatic Practices & Gentle Coaching to navigate emotional or energetic intensity.
  • Post-Ceremony Integration Support to process and integrate your experience into daily life.

Many who face difficult aspects during their journey find that these experiences become their greatest teachers, helping them release fear, trauma, and old conditioning. We are here to support you every step of the way.

Where are ceremonies held?

We are based in San Diego, California, but we also travel to meet you.

We offer ceremonies in various settings, including:

  • Your Home – For those who prefer the comfort and familiarity of their personal space.
  • Private Retreat Spaces – We can arrange an Airbnb or other private setting (with additional costs for accommodations).
  • Alternate Locations – If you prefer to be away from your usual surroundings for a fresh perspective, we will assist in finding a suitable space.

If you’re unsure where to hold your ceremony, we are happy to help guide your decision based on what will best support your journey.
